Yup – I’m back from the field :-( and surfing on a high speed university connection again. :-)
So Brian, would you be interested in playing WoGE, yourself? I don’t want to steal your idea, but if you’re inerested perhaps a couple of us who play regularly could post a couple WoGE blog posts as a kind of webring (with proper homage back to your site as the acknowledged prime mover). If we got five or seven of us we could perhaps organize a schedule where each of us takes a day of the week and posts weekly. Maybe even organize it like the NY Times crossword puzzle so it gets harder as the week goes along? Anyone else have any thoughts on this?
And if you’d like to make WoGE more sophisticated, that’s cool too. You likely have skills/tricks regarding how best to utilize the web that I just don’t know about.
I would be up for that too – but I am in the middle of changing jobs and moving cross country. So I will play along and once I am settled I am happy to contribute too.
I am a sedimentary geologist currently working as a research scientist. I write mostly about past and present research in geology (sedimentary and marine, in particular), general Earth science, and other random topics. I also like to share photographs I've taken from field work and other travels. Learn more here.

I suppose it’s time for WoGE to evolve.
I’ll think about how to best develop it. Meanwhile, I hope a couple of others are interested in joining us too. The more the merrier!
I’ll update you before I post one, Brian.

I’d be happy to put some up- even have some wicked ideas…
With a baby and other stuff going on, regular schedule is a problem, but I can probably do a few between now and the end of the month.
